Artificial Equilibrium
Artificial Equilibrium is a series of ceramic sculptures examining Type 1 diabetes, chronic illness, and the systems that govern survival. Medical language, glucose metrics, and pharmaceutical references merge with volatile ceramic surfaces, reflecting both biological instability and the medical and economic structures that shape daily life.

forty years unmarked?
Forty Years Unmarked? is a series of forty masks that represent the years before diagnosis, challenging the notion of an “unmarked” body. Their surfaces shift between control and rupture, revealing conditions that existed but went unrecognized. Diagnosis does not begin the story; it reframes the past.

Repeat exposure
Repeat Exposure is a series that explores how economic, social, and cultural systems shape behavior through repetition. Through staged self-portrait photography, ordinary routines become performances of maintenance, consumption, and survival, revealing how habits and identity are gradually conditioned by the environments and systems we inhabit.

ACE
ACE is a series that draws from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE), examining how early trauma imprints on the body and psyche. Cracked surfaces and unstable glazes reflect accumulated pressure, positioning the body as a site of long-term psychological and physiological impact.

Personas and shadow
This series draws from Jungian analytical psychology, using the mask as both persona and performance. Layered emotional states, anger, grief, anxiety, joy, are combined to create instability and contradiction, reflecting the complexity of lived experience.
Black glaze emerges as the shadow, suggesting internal pressure and the presence of the unconscious. In later works, this pressure becomes material, as volatile glaze reactions rupture the surface. The masks shift from representation to event, where internal tension manifests as physical disruption.
